Learner Support

As a work based learner you will receive individual support from your Assessor from the moment you join Coleg Cambria. You will have regular meetings and Reviews with your Assessor who will closely monitor your progress and support you through your qualification.

We regard every learner’s personal well being and progress as extremely important and offer support through any difficult times, monitor progress closely and celebrate successes. We support learners with specific learning difficulties and/or physical difficulties to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential.

If you have additional learning needs, our Additional Support Team will work with you to ensure you have the opportunity to fulfil your potential. An Additional Learning Plan is agreed to help you achieve your goals and appropriate specialist equipment is provided to support you in your studies if required. For further information, please contact your Assessor for more details.

Help is available for all students of all abilities, at all levels. We can help with: • Assessments to identify your support needs • Individual tutorials • On-course support • Extra help with English, Maths and computers • Help with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, Irlen Syndrome and ADD.

If you have an educational need and require extra help with your studies, please contact Learning Support to arrange an appointment. lizzie.stevens@cambria.ac.uk
