The IET held their Roadshow at Deeside campus on 12th December 2018.
Presentations from both Steve Devine and San Mei Wynne highlighted the importance of engineering knowledge, regulations and career progression. Also covered was the IET Academy and other resources available for students and learners.
A number of competitions were run and the winners in no particular order were:
1st: Aidan Fred Kane. A first year full time electrotech student who has overachieved in exams due to his obvious meticulous studies.

2nd: Robert Craig Ankers. A more mature electrotech apprentice who always wants to know more.

3rd: Ethan James Williams. A level 3 apprentice who previously competed in WorldSkills and has the knowledge to back his performance.
